Rolie Poly

Hello little creatures. The time has finally come to escape and take vengence on your captors... if you can actually escape that is.

Draw, turn, bounce and climb your way to the exit of the lab, where you once were experimented on.

Rollie Poly is currently only a Demo and still in development. It was originally created for the Twitch Game Jam 2024, so it contains some Twitch integration features.

Controls:

a/d: move left/right

space: Redraw your shape in a redraw area

esc:  pause

hold u: unstuck yourself from weird collision

Twitch Integration:

In the bottom right of the main menu you will find the "Twitch Features" button, which leads you to the twitch feature settings.

Authorize:

To use the Twitch features, input your Twitch username and channel name and press authorize. (The twitch authorization may not work on all browsers. If you have problems with it, try a different browser)

Chat Drawing Mode:

your chat will draw a shape for you. For this, activate "allow chat drawing" and set a cooldown for the commands:

• "!line left X"
• "!line right X"
• "!line up X"
•  "!line down X"

Remember, the X values cannot be too big, otherwise they will not be accepted. Finally, with "!line done" there is a 1/5 chance of the shape finishing

Allow Creature Spawn:

Allow creature spawn will allow your chat to manifest as little creature in your game, that will walk around and wave at you. You can change how many of the can be on screen at a time. To be able to show up your chat will have to use !join or !queue to join the queue of names that the little Creatures will have.
